Lightbulb 1995 SVX Blue leather AWD for sale Wash. DC

I am transferring overseas and have to sell my SVX. It is a blue 1995 with <100K miles. The transmission was replaced at about 30K and has been trouble free sense then. The rear wheel bearings have been replaced numerous times

It is my daily driver and runs well. I'll post some pictures soon. I need to sell this month. I am asking $4,500. Please email questions to nateandlaurie@gmail.com. Thanks

Numerous times usually means the housing is distorted ... that or whomever is doing the install isn't replacing the packing grease with high temp bearing grease...

Where in D.C. are you? I'm about 30 minutes south of the middle of D.C. off of Pennsylvania Ave/Route 4.

I am close to you (Waldorf).

As far as the wheel bearings-- The original owner had the problems you described. He went back and forth with the dealer to get it fixed. The fix lasted until about 80K when the right rear bearing went out on me. It took two trips to the mechanic to get it fixed for me.

Picks are on my craigslist add:

Truly motivated sell = Price reduction.
Now $3400. It's on autotrader and craigslist.

Now at $3k

If someone has some cash available they can get a good SVX. Timing is more important than the amount.

Angry Fine, $2,800 but you guys are killing me.

I'll take $2,800 at this point. And by "take $2,800", I mean I will accept $2,800 in negotiable funds (US dollars) in exchange for my vehicle. I won't accept the following:

"I get paid next week."
"I'll be back to look at it next week."
"I'm interested and I will give you a low ball offer, but I don't actually have any money."

etc.

Sorry to rant, but now I know why I just donated my last vehicle.

Looks like a good car at a good price. I wish I had a place for a second SVX.

Can you post better photos than the ones on craigslist?

Did you install one of those stick on dash kits?

What does the car need?

Any problems?

This stuff might help some members get into the buying mode.

Good luck.

Thanks Dan

I think I finally found a buyer, but I'll keep my finger's crossed until payment arrives.

I think the wood dash is one of those stick on kits. It was installed at the dealer with the leather and sun roof. This car was a 1995 model that sold in 1996, so I think the dealer was trying to up grade it to get it off the lot.

The windshield is cracked on the passenger side and there is a crease on the rear bumper from a fender bender. Other than that I would chalk everything else up to the usual wear and tear. It has some rock chips and worn leather on the drivers seat. The windshield wipers seem to have a mind of their own. Sometimes they stop working for no reason and then start up again. The engine and transmission and drive train are all doing great. The oil and differential fluids are always maintained with Mobil 1 synthetic. The car doesn't leak any fluids or burn any oil.

Like I said, I have a commitment from a buyer, but I've had those before. If this deal falls through I'll be back here Tuesday night looking again.

Sold it

I'm now SVX free. It was always a love/hate relationship.
