Custom paint

For those thinking of how to paint their SVX, I would suggest NOT doing this.

Man! You beat me to the punch!!! What was the owner thinking? Did he lose a bet? Anyone know the pedigree of this wayward SVX?

I don't mind the fact that they were trying to be patriotic but come on a two year old would have drawn a better design.

Damn....I'd love to beat the former owner with the same 'ugly stick' he used when re-painting that car.

Maybe h's referring to Herr Bush?

Sorry, I don't love America enough to paint it like that. An American or Confederate flag in the back window should be enough.

The car was originally black over claret. You can see the engine compartment is claret.

Does anyone else think that the interior is worn more like 153,000 miles, than 53,000 miles??

As for the colr scheme... YUCK! At least paint the roof and deck something other than black!

I knew that.

American flag is red, white and blue.

I was more refering to the color and its design shape. If you look, probably you can see some german flags with red, white and black long time ago? (I don't know) As of right yes, red yellow and black...

"Runs and drives like a car with only 53,000 miles"

This is the line that give away the mileage fraud to me.

Driver's seat is worn, center console likely been out, steering wheel most likely worn, wheel center caps repainted.

It's not worth $2000.

honestly... and i know i'm gonna take flak for this.. but i think if the roof hadn't been kept black, it wouldn't look to bad. I think the lines actually do flow with the lines of the car a little bit.... would i EVER do this to my car??? no... but as far as putting 3 colors on the car, i think they did it better than most... if only they had dropped the black top...

I might go along with the mileage; it's the salvage title that would scare me off. (I mean, aside from the paint scheme.) "Runs and drives like a car with only 53,000 miles" = that's how many miles were on it when it was trashed. Who knows how long ago that was.

Edit: Holy cow, 14 people have bid on that thing. It's up to $2500+.
