My luck has gone to crap!

In the last 2 weeks I've:

1. Been transfered to an office where the boss isn't my biggest fan
2. Been quoted $1100 for a timing belt change
3. Been waiting for my SVX to get back fromt he tranny shop. Delayed 4 times = 2 full weeks
4. Been charged 5 hours labor to get rusted brake lines replaced on Fiat (So I'd have a car to drive w/o renting one)(No Air Cond in Florida)
5. Ordered a widnsheild washer resevoir for the Fiat, was chaged 2x for shipping (I got that back) but it appears the pump doesn't work.
6. Just got my drivers side replacement window for the SVX and it's not the drivers side, it's the passenger side.

Crap

Randy (Looking for sympathy) ii

A Fiat, and an SVX. All that's missing is a Renault Dauphine.
You don't need sympathy, Randy; you need sanity.

Ron (rust on the Fiat? You must be kidding).

um, you got your health?

look, that really sucks, that is about all i can say about that.

i am sorry that your luck seems to be gone, but you have to have really bad days to make really good days. something really good is coming your way.

Actually that's good to hear. If (bad) things come in 3's (like Larry?) then I'm fine as I've had 2 pair of 3's.

It's all good from here WOOHOO!

I never said I was all that bright. In the famous words of a famous SVX'er "Think of a Fiat as a Mazda Miata with Iron Oxide".

Now this is what I was looking for . Sympathy from the ladies. That has an impact. (Thanks guys but it's just not the same)

Yes Kelli, my luck is gone {sniff} and I just can't seems to {sniff sniff} get things back to...uh...I...I just can't talk about it anymore. I think I'll have to end it all by stacking up the SVX bills and jumping off of the top of them. (I am milking this for all it's worth) As for my health I'm sick about the car, does that count?

Actually I recieved a call yesterday and the SVX is "scheduled" to be finish Monday, shift kit and all. So things are looking up.

Randy (I can't have the fortune cookie as I'm on the Atkins Diet) ii

ps: That's what I mean, a lady offers me a cookie and I can't have it. Just bad luck!

but the thing about the cookie is, you can open it up, read it, and toss the cookie out...it still kinda served a purpose

everything will come back to normal...it always does and who knows...might be even better...if it can't get any worse...then it has to go somewhere doesn't it?

get off the aiken's diet...it isn't good for you...seriously

Kelli

Throw away the cookie and eat the paper?

Well so much for coming in 3's. I keft to go to work for a while and could smell antifreeze, low and behold the heater core in the Fiat is leaking now. Just another shot!

Get some hose and bypass the heater core... and get rid of the damn thing before it gets cold again... Keep your chin up

(it makes a better target for people to aim at)!

sorry Randy...

Hey!!! That's my house!

I really do feel better now. Gonna go bypass heater core. Good thing I'm in Florida.

This'l balance things out. It already doesn't have air conditioning.

Randy ii

ps: Kelli, I saw your comment on the Atkins diet. Thanks for the concern, I have a solution for that on my home page.
