More Misc. Ramblings

1) Can You Say, "Duty Solenoid A"....
Late last week the power light on my 92 Pearly started flashing on startup. It actually flashes 16 times. I already had an appointment for service on Saturday so they read the code as 11, which is our favorite duty solenoid. I am very busy right now, so high ATF line pressure will have to wait.

2) While up at the dealership for service on Sat., I saw a red '93 SVX Anniv. model that they just took in trade. It wasn't prepped yet. It has rubs on each side of the front bumper. Some sort of rub on the right front wheel weel. Some paint chips on the rear spoiler. It has 103K miles on it. The interior looks good. The outside mirrors were only a little dull. It was raining so I couldn't tell much. The car is at Bob Rafferty Subaru in Newtown Square, PA if anyone is interested.

3) "Accidents Will Happen !!"
Saturday afternoon about 3:30 PM at the 'Nort Joisy' entrance to 'Da Tunnel', after the toll boths, just before entering the tube, we were all inching forward. It was about 12 lanes of traffic going down to 2. Some guy from Wilkes Barre, PA in a black Geo put the right side of his front bumper into the left rear fender of our Outback. The gray paint on the Outback is scraped up badly. I have $500 deductible on the collision portion of my auto insurance. I doubt if there's that much damage. It should be fun getting his insurance co. (Nationwide ) to pay up.
Somehow, subconsciously, I'm blaming my brother-in-law for this one. If it wasn't for him, I would not have been there.
We have to see my inlaws again next weekend. I can't wait to get the other side of the car customized.

It's also his fault that you're not attending the Brakeshoe I Arctic air festival in Winchester this weekend. Can't you get cousin Vito to "take care" of this guy?

Ron.

Pay up...kiddies

When we where rear-ended by an Explorer while driving our Forester the ins. company was all to happy to get off with just a fenderbender payment. The driver-at-fault's insurance happily paid my deductable and all other repair costs, once they heard there was a 5 and 1 year old in our backseat.

They where 'audiably' happy that 'no one was hurt.'

We got new paint and a new rear bumper out of the 'deal'.
