I'll never forget the response I got when I asked one of the DeLorean guys if he'd like to sit in my car. "Sure!" He said, excitedly. "I may never get another chance." Talk about feeling "special." A DeLorean dude excited about sitting in MY car.

Significant Technical Input
DeLorean? Isn't that the car you snort-started and it followed any white line?

DMCs were used in the Back to the Future I, II , and III. They do have a cool windows and 5 speed manual tranny. Only 2 seater though

Another car that has window in window feature is the McLaren F1. Check that out.

I really do think that the DeLorean is an impressive car, if perhaps, not well thought out. Case in point: Pugeut/Renault V6 (I think that's what they told me it was), pumping out a massive 160hp. Another thing that's kind of funny: If you get a flat - the passenger walks! That's the only place in the car roomy enough to hold the wheel.

Well, they only came out with the 260hp 'sport' motor a couple of years ago, and there is always the twin turbo kit. It was never meant to be a Ferarri killer. As far as the flat tire thing goes, I'll have to ask my buddy if he can hold a full sized spare(or at least a flat rear tire,it's bigger than the front) under the hood. Besides, if things get too bad you could always take off the hood and use it as a grill.

Yeah, the resale value plummeted on those and you can find them at any used-car dealer.

I saw one of those in London. Not actually driving, of course. (Can you imagine getting a $15,000 paint chip?). It was behind glass in a storefront. Only about 700,000 pounds if I remember correctly
