Question Arrival times?

I'm trying to find out when folks will begin to roll into Reading on Friday. With my schedule I can be there bright and early but would like to arrange for a more coordinated time with the other early birds. Anyone care to share an ETA with the rest of us? Also, this being my first meet, what does one usually bring besides him/herself and their SVX?

(Yes I know this could go into the Reading Meet forum but not everyone reads that )

Reading ETA

I am hoping to be there by 6 or 6:30 but since the tax man needed an extra grand this year (still not sure how you can own two houses and still owe money) I won't be staying over. Will probably hang out though until oh maybe 2am.

As for what to bring. Didn't you read that all meet virgins are required to bring drinks for everyone over the legal limit? Really you may just want to bring dress up chemicals and of course YOUR CAMERA!!!

I'll get there aroud 3pm from Baltimore. Just bring your car, your camera and any car wash/detailing products you want. Possibly any parts you want to get rid of, etc.

Don't worry if you don't have enough energy or enthusiasm to last until Sunday, There will be more than enough to go around

HAH HAH! Keep dreaming, my friend! Seriously though, is a cooler of beer considered inappropriate by the parking lot proprietors? Nope...nevermind...just got an IM from the wife that I have $14 to my name after the bills this paycheck. At least I will have gas to get there and a free place to crash at night. Just need to worry about food.

I will plan on being there around 3'ish I suppose. God! I hate being broke!

Arrival time.....

I expect to leave Greensboro NC at around 1:00pm when Shannon (Miss Marine) gets out of school. Mapquest.com says that it is a 7 1/2 hour drive... I am gonna be out to prove them wrong. I am shooting for about 7:30 to 8:00pm.... That little Miata tach's out about 4000rpm at 80mph in 6th gear. Definitly not geared for hi-way crusing.... I did the math last night just for the hell of it and if I where to drive from Shannon't house in NC to the hotel in PA it would have turned a little over 2,400,000 revolutions.... That is if I stayed in 6th gear.... Anyway, that is my target arrival time.... 7:30pm to 8:00pm...... Who will be there about that time that we can hang out with????
