Family walks away from accident

Not of great concern to anyone here except myself but my brother and niece (at 1 1/2 years) luckily walked away from a highway accident today. A trailer/truck hit his rear while he was overtaking. Police will have to settle on the blame, I guess. Probably a blind spot issue. Same trailer/truck had clipped the mirror off another truck a few kilometers prior down to spinning my bro off the tarmac. I hope they took a blood sample.

Re: Family walks away from accident

I'm glad they're alright. It sounds like the truck drivers fault if he was involved with a previous accident and didn't even bother to stop.
I think he was into the Aquavit!

Yes, my thinking precicely. It will mean something financially, which party needs to cover what for who.

I am glad to hear they are ok. You can always replace the car.

Re: Family walks away from accident

That was a hard way to start 2013 but it is great that no one was hurt!
I am surprised at the lack of snow -- or was that not in Norway?

This is on the west coast. I think it's bland and 12 degrees come january or july. I live on the east now and here it's winter wonderland. There was a heat surge for two days now creating a lot of meltwater and it froze tonight, -5 now. When I pulled out from my mother in law's ten minutes ago my backwheels was on her icy drive and spun like hell. For the first time ever I actually felt my car pulling me into the road, not pushing.

Ensteele... if an Avensis isn't replaceable, then nothing is!
