1992 LS Partout, No Motor
CAR IS SOLD!!!!
I have a 1992 Subaru SVX with 170,000 miles that I'm planning on parting out. The only things not up for grabs are all the seats out of it, the motor, the dash harness, and the ecu. Just send me a PM for anything you need, with an offer. I am located in NY at zip 13305. Something else to mention is that there is a 10 inch long crack in the lower driver side of the windshield, so that's pretty much toast. Also, some jackass thought it would be a good idea to bondo the worst looking hoodscoop ever to the hood, so forget about it unless you are planning to totally redo that. The doors are nice and straight with only one ding in the drivers side, and all the windows work. *I just discovered that the radio harness has been mutilated and is of no use, and the stock radio with CD player looks to be in good shape except for the antenna wire which has been cut (there is a pic in the album). *While pulling the headlights, and taking the front grill off, it would seem that at some point someone thought it would be a good idea to rubber cement the damn grill to inserts that clip to the headlights. The lights are completely fine, but the grill is pretty much borked. *Pulled the motor on 3/20/11 and found out that the tranny is from either a legacy or impreza, so no big loss there. *Discovered that the radiator and fans are from a manual legacy (no transmission cooler lines on it), so I do not have the SVX one. *Front axles are different from one another... one has very large ends and shaft, while the other one is kinda weak looking. I will update the list below whenever something sells. Not Available: Interior: -Seats and connected controls -Drivers side sun visor -Passenger Map light Lens -Airbag Control Unit -Radio Door and Surround -Dash Harness -ECU -Drivers side Window Switch Exterior: -Windshield -Drivers Side Headlight -Drivers Side Corner Light -Rear Spoiler Engine Related: -Motor -Front Cat Pipes -Mid Pipe Pretty much everything that is not on the above list is available! Yeah I know... I really love the looks of the car, but alas! No title. Also forgot to mention in the first post that there is something wrong with the tranny, I think the last owner did too many front wheel burnouts with the fuse in. The power steering pump is also very dead (lots of foaming from the cap). My thoughts about the situation are that maybe through the use of these parts, someone else will be able to keep their car on the road. Believe me, I would be driving this car today if I could get it legally on the road.

Yeah they are not much good without a Title are they? What are putting the seats and motor into?

The seats (Really badly ripped drivers side) are going to the guy who helped me trailer the car back, he has a 93 Impreza wagon thats getting an EJ20 dropped in, says that he knows a guy that can reupholster them. And the motor is going to be pulled out and rebuilt (remember 170,000 miles) and will probably end up in another SVX if I can find one (hopefully with title) soon.

Well I figured that it would be a good time to beef up the lower end and get it ready for some boost! My goal is to keep the CR somewhat higher (if possible) and only depend on about 8-12 Psi to get about 320 whp reliably.
But I'm getting off track! Who wants some lovely SVX body panels? All in good shape. And if your the type of person that needs to talk over the phone then just let me know and I will give you my number. -Josh |

Sorry those are staying with the motor, but everything from the catpipes back is available (Midpipe, Mufflers, Tailpipes).
