HD radio unit install

So the dimensions of the Sony XT-100-HD module are 9.7 x 7.4 x 3.7 inches ; 2.9 pounds. I already have an autostart unit under the driver's side dash. Does anyone know of a good location to mount this unit?

Re: HD radio unit install

Oh, I have 6 feet of wire, that might be worth noting.

Re: HD radio unit install

That thing is huge -- it's like a double-DIN (4x7") that's nearly 10" deep

That might fit under one of the seats.

In the '96, will that fit in the void in the center console under the rear ashtray?

Otherwise, trunk. There's a handy power connector back there (for an old style mobile cell phone transceiver unit).
