Bought SVX #3

I just bought my 3ed SVX. It was SVXonthebrain's 92 Ebony.

It has a 4.11 transmission installed but it only has 1st & 2ed gear. There is a decent sized dent in the rear pass. side quarter panel from a recent minor accident. The roof of the car has something wrong with the paint, but the rest of it looks pretty good (minus where it got hit).

Another SVX to fix up and enjoy.

It looks very nice.

I expect you will do a professional job of restoring it. Best of luck with the work!

The dent isn't that bad, the door still closes, which is the most important part right now. I have a neighbor that does body work, he said he can pull the dent out, repaint that section and repaint the roof.

I like the 97 grille ok, but I think I might actually like the smallcar grille a little better.

I'll trade you a small car grille for the 97.

This is weird. I also bought my 3rd SVX on the same day.
It was zarmien's 92 teal.
I just didn't want it to go to the salvage yard.
Most of it looks better than my 92 teal but I'm still uncertain what
I will do with it. I am open to suggestions...
Anyone local need any parts?

Ed, have you fessed up to the boys and girls here about the, ahem, rapidity of your purchases? You may hold a record!

Ain't love grand....

Thats awesome.
I am really glad someone bought the car as well. I had thought about buying it, but it was a little too far away for me.

I have to wonder if it is indeed love...
I owned other cars that have a strong following (Porsche 944, 3 CRX's, a Mustang, etc)
They all have attractive characteristics.
The look of the SVX, however blows them away.
As far as a record, Hey Earl, Have you ever bought 2 in a month?
3 in 2 months? Anyone?

I bought 2 SVXs in 2 weeks and 3 SVXs in less than a year.

It is an obsession
