Somebody left this on my car...

True story. I left my car couple of days at my work parking lot and when I got back to my car I saw something on the front windshield. I was like ah, did I get a parking ticket?? But it was this.

http://picasaweb.google.com/ryuasada...95222614582962

I really want to thank this person but there's no notes or anything, meaning I have no idea who did it. Wish the person would know that I'm very appreciative.

The other day my co-worker also gave me a 1992 SVX old pamphlet from his old boxes. I feel too lucky these days...

I had someone flip out when coming into Office Depot here, ranting and raving about the SVX and wanting to meet the owner. But in her infinite wisdom my manager didn't bother asking on the radio if anyone owned the "black car with funny-looking windows in the parking lot." She asked that after we had closed and the guy had already left...

Sigh. Great luck though, that's really cool of that person to leave such a thing for you.

Wow, that's very nice of them.

The only thing I've ever found left on my car by people are scratches and door dings

Wow that was VERY nice of someone! Those things go for 20-30 bucks on ebay!

What are the odds of someone having one of those around that didn't want it any more, and then seeing a SVX and doing that? What a great person!

Maybe you should leave your car parked at work overnight more often... leave it there a week you might come back to a pallet next to it with a new tranny on it.

I got one of those "back in the day". At the time I owned an '86 XT. I believe it was a thinly disguised advertisement fot the SVX. Well it worked! That book is what hooked me on the SVX.
It's full of glowing praise for the SVX, not the usual fair reporting from R&T. The writer of the driving impression wasn't enamored of the WIW. Out of 6 pages it got one sentence. I've had it out & reading it again.
The 1st time I read thru it I said "someday I'll own one of those". Someday is Thursday

It is nice to see someone do something nice instead of bad stuff. It renews your faith in people. Random acts of kindness.

I don't know if I really did something good some people (I hope so though!) but this is truly unexpected and thankful. Wish I knew who did it...

BTW this IS really cool book that they compiled. I had few Japanese SVX magazines or books, but not this one, and this shows a lot more than those Japanese ones. I'm really glad somebody gave it to me.

Nice photos too, it captured the beauty of this car really well.

Reminds me of a time I was driving around with some subie parts in my trunk and I saw a Loyale with a broken tail light, and I just happened to have an extra one so I left it on the hood :-P
