My friend's daily driver (Photoshoot)

Hey everyone,
Just had a little fun with the ol' camera today, and did a long overdue photoshoot of my friend's 78 Firebird. It may just an esprit w/ the formula package,But not only was it the father/son restoration project, it's his DAILY DRIVER, going on 3 years now. He just recently got a new intake manifold and 4 barrel carb. Anyhow, enjoy
-Eric

Tips for your next shoot:

Photo 1: Turn the front wheel so you can see the rim. Always. Never show the tire, always show the rim. Good focus and foreground, but maybe ditch the lightpole. Maybe a tighter crop.

Photo 2: Good job

Photo 3: Get closer! Tighter crop!

Last photo= HOTNESS! Great angle, great composition, great lighting. WIN!

MMMM...second Gen Formula Firebird.....
Looks good, but they didn't come with the "Fomula" across the back bumper....(I grew up on Firebirds, before I converted to Subaru's)

Yeah, shoulda turned the wheel. The pole and garbage can can be cropped, but then its too tight for me

Photo 2: Good job
ty

I think I cropped it just righ. It has a nice flow between the horizon and the gold two tone, and I wanted to emphasize just how middle of nowhere we were. Ill look into your suggestion though *edit* Nah, you're right. I made it just a liiitle bit tighter, and its all the better

Last photo= HOTNESS! Great angle, great composition, great lighting. WIN!
Thanks again. This was actually two photos grafted together via a panoramic program that came with the camera, though I had to do a bit of tweaking to get the car's lines to match up. The car's shadow is a dead giveaway of this...my tripod would have been nice
Thanks for the compliments and tips, though it must be said that I had the sun working against me in many of the pictures, and not enough time to continuiously move the car for best lighting (Snapped theese off before work) It would have been ice too if I could find my little travel tripod...would have made for a bit clearer shots....Well, that and a new camera too I figure Im still kinda learning what works and what doesnt, and once I get where I wanna be artistic view wise, Ill get a better camera and actually do photoshoots for side money
Now about that pole...your right, it's gotta go. Just lemme get out that ol chainsaw...

Ill proby be uploading a few more from the shoot for opinions, actually.

Biggest thing about both those is the wheels are both pointed the wrong way. Not SVX style, but steering wise. Good job dude!
