Rules my dear friend rules. According to Production rules you can use any tranny you want with any gearing you want provided the number of forward speeds does not change (overdrive does not count as a gear).

I think Dave trapped a 1.6 in florida if memory serves me right. I don't know though about over 100mph. She seems to have quite a bit of spare oil in the intake!

trust me... that light, you will turn some veyr decent traps... If you cut a 1.6 witht he auto It gonna be a disgrace to see what you will do with a 5mt

awesome.......i have been chatting with benebob a bit lately about my limited budget build-up.......i was gonna be happy with 3200 and was going to accept 3400 (!!)
now i have hope of going up against all those damn wrx/sti's and evos!!

ps.........just how radical have u gotten with weight reduction.i know your class regs only allow a bit of body mods......have u gone to lexan/perspex?
glassfibre boot lid?.........or?............
what was the biggest single area of improvement?(ie: what gave the most"bang for the buck"??)

Nice! I thought that might be the reason So, are you going to put an old Muncie shift knob on it (1st-4th + R)

Depends. I still need all that info plus a ton more to make application. Key is it needs to come from Subaru and well since the FSMs suck donkey dung for it. I got 1/3 of what I needed. The FSMs don't even have the diameter of the stinking valves in 'em . Hopefully Dynomatt will have gotten most of it when he had to do his app.

What do you need to know Ben?? I know how you can nix 5th if you wanted but you might need to shift at the end of the 1/4 mile... not that u care

Go here and click on send letter to CRB, at the bottom of the letter form is the downloadable spec sheet for classing a new car. Its not so much knowing the answers as it is having the "proof" required to back it up.
