Thieves ripped out stereo..along with dash.

Hey all,

This happened almost a year ago- my car getting broken into and ravaged, and I finally got tired of looking at the gaping hole in the middle of my car. Basically, where the stereo was, the thieves ripped out the whole stereo kit, breaking all the tabs, screws.

I went to a car stereo place the other day, and they told me I would need to order a new harness kit (the thingy with the door cover) retailing at 191.00 or something like that.

Does anyone out there have a parts car that would be willing to part me this dash stereo harness thing for cheaper? My car is sad.

What dash do you have? 92s had a dark purple-ish "wood", some of the middle years had grey, and the later ones had a lighter colored wood.

Hey SubaSteeve, is it the same piece as what Dan just found on e-bay in the below post? THat is exactly the piece I need- except, yes I have a 92 with the dark purplish wood.

I will take that item off your hands if its that kit, ill message you.
