I don't meen any disrespect or to get you angry, but seriously. It looks like a freaking taxi. I would have gone with brighter rims. Maybe white. It would have looked alot better.

point taken

I agree with what "alacrity024" had to say. I didnt mean to dis the car, i like yellow. I can't really see the rims.

moving on, i do disagree with the choice of the spoiler and i would like to see some more pics. especially of the wheels.

In my opinion that spoiler just yells "ricer"

Lwin, I saw that you had some instructions on how to install the white face gauges but the link that was given would not work. Any chance you or someone else could hook me up with some of those instructions? Thanks in advance.

Danny.

I'm just now joining this thread. I wisely read all the posts before clicking the link to the pic. That said, I ain't even gonna click the link. I don't think I could bear it.

Sight unseen, however, I will deliver my trademark response to cars of that particular color . . .

I'll post the link again later tonight. I got my servers switched. Finally I got my server back so I can have my SVX section up again. Tonight? Ok?

Nice job Dan!

I like the yellow shade, especially with the black wheels. I'd like to see more pics.

BTW- We all need to keep this thread bumped to the top to keep it in front of Aredub!!!

Finally i get to see an SVX with a nice shade of yellow. Beautiful paint man, one question, what did you pay for the paint job? I finally got mandi talked into yellow, cause her car needs to be repainted SOON. I apologize to all those on this site who dislike the yellow color, but i think the car looks amazing in yellow. Those black rims look like black holes. The only really bad part about that car is that spoiler. If you kept a stock or stock looking spoiler on there, you would have people wondering if you were driving a lotus or ferrari or something...the spoiler just makes it look like a kid's car.

Because we'd rather have them think that, of course. This seems to be the driving force behind the majority of 'tuners' these days. Make it look fast or like something else which is fast.

Well it already does. It was designed by the same guy who designed most of lamborghini's famous cars. So the car really has no choice but to be compared to them. That's all I hear when riding in it..."what's that?...looks like a ferrari or something"

your forgetting the airheads that see some movie where their car is fast, and they think theirs must be the same. I'm sorry who ever you were last night, but a jeep grand cherokee is not worth the premium gas I'll use in kicking your butt

The yellow looks good, although I don't care for yellow. The picture isn't that good so I can't make a good judgement about the wheels but I rarely like black wheels. Just doesn't look good blending with the tires.
That spoiler though... Just awful. It looks like the handle on a gravy dish or something. You should have gone with the JDM spoiler (like the one on the Blitzen).
