Tom,

I am still in for that 4.44 trans swap into my XT6. I have the money now. Just waiting for your holiness to bless my vehicle. *bow*

Tom, how much to replace the clutch in my (hopefully soon) 951 after I burn it up trying to keep up with Chike? Do I get a discount on the labor after helping you and Mike assemble the tent in the rain at Reading?

Not to get you down, but I have never turned a wrench in any aspect of a porsche. Not to say I am scared of doing it but just something I have never done. You want to lay that in my hands?
On a more serious note, I should be able to help you out.

If I get her, the clutch is probably due in the next year or so depending how I drive her. I ordered the Haynes manual so I'd have something for you to read up on first.

911s (930/964/993/996/997), Boxsters (986/987), and Caymans (987C) use a Flat 6
924, 931, 944, 951, & 968 used an inline 4
928 had a V-8
Cayenne (955) has a Flat 6 or V-8

What would you recommend for a 1994 FWD SVX with 77,000 miles in very nice condition?

first, a tranny cooler and filter.

Second, a set of 4.44 gears for your front diff

3rd, A custom exhaust.

From there just about anything else

In need of rear differential

Hi Tom I just read the thread about you having some rear differential's available. I have a 95 L model if it matters. I just had my subaru mechanic diagnose my symptoms. Rear wheels are slipping and sliding. Car needs more gas pedal to backup. I also get a bad shaking and vibration when turning at lower speeds. I don't know if this is related to the rear differential or not. I checked what new ones cost and don't want to go there if possible. My screen name on here is blue thunder. I need one ASAP and am ready to buy. Thanks.

Mike

that sounds like a sol. C binding issue much like the problem I had with my teal. Do some research on that first and make sure they sink up
