B9 Review

Just in case anyone is interested in a review on the B9 Tribeca.

I still don't like that grille, but other than that it is OK for a crossover SUV. Still not an SVX even though the 250 HP 6 cyl might be nice in the SVX.

The grill doesn't bother me and I think it would look much better without the ugly headlights. IMO, if they would have gone with little horizontal lights like the SVX, it would be a different car.

I really don't like the back though. There are too many curves that don't seem to fit together. Almost like one team designed the bottom half of the rear end and a different team in a different room designed the top half

Does anyone else think the B9 front looks like the Toyota minivan? Each time I see one of those vans, I have to double check and make sure it's Toyota and not Subaru...

If I was asked by someone, who made the 'beca, I have to say it was made by SAAB. It just has that look.

I think the B9 looks a lot like a Nissan Murano.

I've seen the new 'Beca in person at a Scooby dealership and up-close it doesn't look too bad. Like Hocrest mentioned, the grill isn't that bad...the weird bug-eye headlights are just horrid though!

i agree but the interior is smooth. if u seen the dash pic everything flows. i like for a small suvish thing but the crease on the through the back taillights is just wrong.

Carry 7 people ,but maybe out to dinner. you can't pick up the 6 boy/girls at soccer practice you can't go camping/fishin with the guys were would put the gear . When all 3 seats are up you have just enough room to squeeze a large manila envelope between the back of the 3rd seat and the rear window. Oh ant the guys that use the rear seat better have real short legs. That is of course IMHO only

Yeah, there is very little room for cargo when all 3 rows of seating are used. And the 3rd row seats are tough to get into unless you are relatively small. My head was almost resting against the rear window when I sat back there....that can't be good!

True. And as long as you only put children in the 3rd row, everyone should be happy. Although I can picture a family on vacation with small children in the 3rd row who force the people in the second row to get out of the car every time they need to stop for a bathrooom break. You need to move the second row as far foreward as possible to get into the 3rd row, and you ain't doing that with people sitting there!
