Hi All

Hi!

If everything goes right, I should be an SVXer by this Sat.

Just a preliminary warmup question:

Do you guys call the SVX a subie, scoobie or any of the other Subaru nick names or should I change my account name?

Again, Hi all and I hope to learn and contribute alot to this board.

I'll be working on a sig combo once I really get the car.

Good luck on getting your SVX. I think everyone here has different names for their own cars. Call yours whatever you want - as long as it's clean.

Welcome, "Wicked." I agree with Nick (Mr Pockets). As long as it's clean. Let's hope everything goes right for you. Some of our members have "vanity plates" reading "Super Roo" and "Scooby Doo," so, you'll be right at home.

Even if things "don't go right," your welcomed to join us. This Network isn't only for owners, but, for enthusiaists. Come on in and make yourself at home.

To stray as far as possible from the cute 'Subie' style names, i named mine Tamika. my mother still calls it the 'subie' though.

Um... haven't really decided of a name for the car...never named one before...never had vanity plates either.

Is WickedSubie too cute for a username?

I was thinking of naming the car "Angst" as she's going to be black, which is far from cute me thinks...

By my original post what I was meaning is WRX owner's and such call their's subies, scoobies, and I notice none of you call them that.

Kindof like how beemer refers to the BMW bike only, and the cars are bimmers.

I just don't want to be doing a no-no by using "subie" as someone may think it's a WRX or Outback or something, and that's definately NOT the impression i'm looking for.

WickedSubie might be a bit of overkill as we know the SVX will never be 12 second "wicked" but.... ah well. Wicked will be the fastest car in the family now that the 99GT is totaled (RIP: 12/22/01 - she was a pretty one - I'll post pick links sometime).

Too bad my leftover SSR integrals are 9 inches wide with 275's on them and a 23mm offset or I would put them on the SVX, they have the same bolt pattern.

Ah well... the joys of shopping for wheels has begun again.

Bring in the cash and I will attach a O2 booster rocket on top of your car. Anything can be done. If there is a will, there is a way. Trust me. I have done a lot in the past.

I would say Angst is certainly what some owners experience from time to time. Let's hope yours never incites that particular feeling in you.

Welcome to the club "Wicked" and the name sounds fine. My family calls my car "BABY" mainly because it gets babied a lot. Then there are the times when it is a "Wicked Baby" too. A few times the baby also gets dropped kicked.

Welcome
