safety first
From time to time myself and others have urged members to make sure they use jackstands while working under their car - in other words do NOT rely on just a jack - unless of course you can bench press the SVX comfortably.
However, the definition of exactly what constitutes a jackstand appears to not be universal. The pic attached is NOT what I meant. However, I do note he chocked the wheel before cranking up the welder.

My jaw dropped when I saw that. What would keep the truck from tipping over on it's side?
 That would be real embarrassing wouldn't it.
