Talking Somthing that can whoop all svx's

so i was driving in my famly's 01' grand charokee down 4 lane main road. Then i notice in the other lane somthing bright yellow....my first thoughts were oh great i smell a peice of rice. Then i noticed an unfamiliar rumbling of a v12 engine. Then i sorta swerved my vehicle in a state of confusion and said "holy ****" about ten times in a row. I then realized what i had saw was a bright yellow brand new ferrari enzo. I wasn't sure if any have been shipped to the U.S. yet...thats a freakin 600k car ...i wish i had one. Anyone else seen em' on the road?

I remember reading about that car in a magazine. I can't remember which one. Apparently, Ferrari doesn't lend cars to magazines for test drives, so they had to track down an owner. They finally located an Enzo owner in California. One thing I found particularly insane was the 0-60 rating. I think it was either 3.2 or 3.6 seconds. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

At any rate, you were lucky to see one.

yeah well my SVX could take it

....if it had more HP/Tq, was lighter, had a better tranny and was "hooked up"

I'd still rather have a McLaren, but not by much.

Im really dissapointed with that car...aesthetically mostly. It's too cartoonish. Mechanically it's a marvel...just like the rest of it's family...but they could have done so much better than that on the style end. I'd rather take my 600g's and dump half of them into either an Aston Martin DB8 (Vanquish), or maybe a Maranello...and a Fountain 42 Lightning... 'course then i'd need an H1 to tow the Fountain...and an oceanfront house...man the list just never ends.

Are you kidding me? This is where all the ritzy folk come for vacation. RI is littered with 911s, H2,s an occasinal 380GTO, and I'v even seen a yellow Diablo roaming around the Beachfront.

You make a good point, the Porshes and Lambos outnumber the SVX sightings.

Connecticut is the home of some of the richest people in the US. the live in CT work in Newyork. I could bowl in some of the bedrooms of places I installed satelites. Than you have the two casinos on the east side so there are alot of rich indians.(foxwoods makes more money that any casino in vegas or jersey). Add to that global headquarters for research and developement for Pfizer. I'm glad I work the PM shift so I don't have to see some of the cars that are here during the day (like the 69 Lambo that is daily driven.) Yeah so seeing a Enzo in CT is very believable.

I'm sure on the Ferrari and Lamborghini sites, there are posts to the following effect:

"You guys, guess what I saw. I was down at Tiffany's getting some diamond encrusted fly swatters when, as I was returning to my Diablo, I saw this two door coupe with funny windows drive by. I exclaimed, "By jove, was that an EB110?" and threw the flyswatter into the passenger seat as I gunned the V12. Steering with my knee as a I shifted gear with one hand, I used the other to find my camera that had fallen behind some gold bars in the glovebox. As I drew closer, I saw that it was not an EB110 but an SVX! Can you believe it!! Only seen one or two of them! I pulled along side and beeped, giving the driver a thumbs up!

I just hope I can afford to add another level to my garage so I can get one - maybe offload my Ferrari 288GTO to make room"

I live in NY Long Island. I am sickened by the super cars out here. I even saw a guy driving his ferrari on the salt infested snowy roads. I almost followed him to give him hell I was so bent. Lambo, Porche, Ferrari you name it. You see them around here it seems before you even read about them. I can't tell you how many times I have seen something then... read about it. These lock jaw blue bloods are in full effect around here. With the tax breaks they just got they need to spend it somehow...Yuppies they' re not though..never worked in there lives.

Don't get me started on how young the guys driving them are..

grrrrr.....to have a trustfund but.. they don't call it the gold coast for nuthin'
