I saw the first episode of Samurai Jack. It was very funny, but didn't hook me for some reason. Dexter's Laboratory is funny, funny stuff and I love every episode.

Now I look forward to seeing Tartakovsky's treatment of Star Wars.

I don't think Samurai Jack is supposed to be funny.

Samari Jack is really some deep ass **** if you watch it for a while and get into the meanings behind it and the symbolisms it portrays. Looking forward to what they will do with the star wars stories.

As I said, I only saw the first episode. Even then, I only saw like the last half. So, sure, I missed a lot of the story, and the bulk of what I saw was over-the-top action stuff. Because it was so over-the-top, I thoguht it was funny.

So, whether or not it was supposed to be funny, I thought it was.

It has some humour to it too, sure. I didn't mean it was all just the deep ****, the over the top style is meant to be some inside jokes as well.

I came to the same thing when i saw the first episode of Samarai Jack. It just didn't hook me. It seemed like a cheap ripoff of some Japanimation. Though it isn't. And i have watched it a couple times since. It does get better the more you watch it. Though now i don't have cable and i need bearings and exhaust so that cuts a couple funds.
