Re: Are you and your family okay? Covid-19

All fine with us in Kittery Maine though the southern two ME counties are the worst in Maine. Nothing like NY or MA. Had to food shop yesterday and the "wait outside line" was 0 people long. Everyone is super polite. Did pick up my SVX radiator upper mounts from the powder coat shop. Nice "near chrome" finish. Waiting for some warmer weather to get to work again. Hope you all stay well.

All good here. Able to limit interaction with people to weekly trips to the grocery store. Very light traffic makes bicycling feasible all days. Might even take the '94 Emerald Pearl out for a ride tomorrow morning. Daily driver/beater '95 Brilliant Red is just sitting there, since I no longer do daily driving.

Re: Are you and your family okay? Covid-19

I know, I dont post often.... I am an introvert and nothing changes for me. I am more productive at home vs my desk in the catacombs of the Idaho Supreme Court. Many many hours I have been working and sadly I have not fully been able to self isolate. I have had to work at our warehouse for many days receiving pallets upon pallets of Lenovo laptops strait from the COVID19 source, China. Re-imaging the latops with ISC licensed versions of Windows 10, VPN software, and other packages used by the courts for daily operations and shipping out to 44 counties so that the Judicial System continues to roll forward.

That being said, if anyone cares, I am still well for the moment and symptom free. I am down to four rolls of good TP, but my sister was nice enough to obtain some "bark on a roll" as emergency backup. I am seriously pondering a bidet like sprayer moving forward.

In closing, I read today that a long time member and SVX owner Tim Eng lost his father just recently. I am unsure if this is COVID19 related. He has been an active and driving member here for years and I am sure he could use some verbal support, so if you have a moment, drop by this link if its public readable and drop him some sincere condolences please.

In the mean time, I wish everyone well and continued wellness in this crazy time we have before us.

Re: Are you and your family okay? Covid-19

Chris,

Glad to hear that you are well. Hang in there man. I can tell you that (as a bandwidth consumer like me) I really appreciate you. Thank you for your service in all of this. I think much of the cyber infrastructure has held up in this crisis; and many entities are quickly adapting thanks to the I.T. community. You are on the front lines now! Wishing you the best of health.

And if anyone needs a roll, I just picked up a 12 pack at the Dollar store of all places today. They were re-stocked!

And seriously, if anyone here needs a roll, I got a roll. Free plus postage.
I also scored a bag of flour. But not sharing that. LOL.

My older brothers live in girlfriend-fiancé tested positive. So far they are doing okay. Hopefully the case will be mild.

Sending out positive vibes Sean. They should probably isolate from one another but that can be pretty tough in many situations. Please keep us informed.

We're still 'Rona free here. I worry a lot about my mom and dad but their facility is doing everything they can to keep them safe from this scourge.

I've been tracking the PA numbers and they are trending in the right direction in terms of new cases. I also see people being pretty good about masks and distancing, maybe grumbling under their breath sometimes but doing it anyay. I think it's working and things will open sooner rather than later. Can't wait to go out to dinner -- and not just to bring it back to the house!
