Cleaning the MAF??

I read through the How-To (it's very detailed...thank you to whomever took the time..much appreciated)

I was checking out the MAF Cleaning section and read that you can use brake cleaner (no residue), but since I don't have that on hand in my little bag of tricks, what I do have is CRC QD Electonic Cleaner

What do you think? Should I go ahead and use it or should I just play it safe and get myself a can of brake cleaner?
