Taller gearing?

Ok here is my problem / complaint: I just bought the smallcar 5spd, and it works fine, I am happy with it, however I want a taller gear for my fifth gear. the . 78 is just too short for me, I mean I can cruse along at 110 at 4500 RPM but I want a little taller. Am I just dumb or what? I liked the .69 4th gear of the auto, and that seems imposible to obtain, even the STI sixth gear is a .73 which seems stupid to me as it is the same as the WRX five speed fifth gear. HELP ME OUT guys, I know you can, I want as close to the SVX 4th as possible, and remember, I don''t have a lot of $$$ so it would be a next winter purchese.

A taller tire would help a bunch. Try a 225/55/16.

The 5MT WRX has the tallest stock gearing you are going to find.

3.90 final w/.738 5th gear = 80mph @ 3000 RPM = 120mph @ 4500 RPM

The STI actually has a shorter 6th gear.

The only possible exception would be the JDM Forester 6MT.

I have an extremely short 6th gear. I rev at 3800 at 80mph. The wrx 5mt is the best gearing for an mt. Remember it was made for a car that makes power in upper RPMs which the SVX makes more torque down low
