glove box light bulb -- how to change?

Anyone know how to remove the glove box light bulb -- my fingers are too big. I need to get a new bulb. It the bulb a screw in or push down and twist?

Also I noticed a piece of elastic that's obviously there to hold owner's manual. Never noticed it before! Cool.

Where is the place to plug in a cellphone? I heard the svx came pre wired for mobile phones.

Cell phone wiring in in the trunk behind the trim on the passenger (right) side.

The bulb for the glove compartment is your standard wedge bulb (194?) with a green "condom" on it for colour. You can remove the bulb with a pair of needle nose pliers and use the same pliers to carefully position the replacement for installation. Much patience is required for installation.

what do you do with the cell phone wiring? What does it look like -- a socket or just wires?

I cut off a wide pen cap and taped it to tweezers so the bulb would sit in the cap and I was able to replace the bulb this way -- however the green condom on the old bulb broke, so I'm expecting some little led's in 9 months.

That just make the glove box light a little brighter.

On a related note, if you change the little bulb which illuminated the hazard flasher bitton in the dashboard, you will notice it has a green condom on it, which causes the hazard "triangle" to be softly illuminated. If you remove the green condom from the replacement bulb, the red triangle becomes much brighter.

The cell phone connector is a "male" plug with 4 wires I believe.
