Mike, there was only one spoiler offered from the factory...

Our injectors are not dual spray... regardless of how much fuel you can pump doesn't mean more means more HP

This description is completely false and can be seen though just as easily as the guy who now runs 0-100mph in hs 585hp 5mt in less than 7 seconds... Sorry Mike but you have to pull the BS card on this kind of stuff sometime

Tom

Exactly. I simply wanted to let some others see this guys auction and how false and stupid it was. I'm not gonna be the kids damn teacher when if he really wanted to learn anything about it, It's all right here and not hard to find at all. Do a search for SVX and what's about the first thing to pop up? The World Network and it's vast array of information. It's not my problem if he's to busy hangin wit his homies and pimpin it to care about his car or the facts on it. I'm not on a high horse, I simply think it's funny when people flaunt their ignorance and I like to share. I don't know many people who would make an auction for a car on all guesswork.

I said "dealer installed", not from the factory.

Auction:

Other Sources: (same spoiler)

No, just sold a 1995 Emerald L AWD, and selling an almost identical 1995 L Emerald one for a friend, going to relist that one shortly.

Tom, please refer to page 42 of the Road and Track's guide to the SVX, posted in the SVXipedia.

"Fuel injector rails (left), one for each bank of cylinders, incorporate twin-spray injectors...."

You didn't quote the second part where it says "for better cold-weather running", which does not = 13.7 sec 1/4 mile times.

I do not have any problem helping people with information, and I do help out new members whenever I'm able to. But ignorance is no excuse for stupidity. If you don't know something ASK, don't disperse BS.

I never supported his misinformation on track times. I know what SVXs run. (If you remember, I was at a few Atco meets, where I met you and your car) If you read the thread, people were saying the SVX did not come with dual spray injectors and that the particular spoiler was not a dealer installed option. I just wanted to clarify that misinformation.

In my opinion, the car looks pretty nice and clean and is well worth the price.

Misinformed, yes. Bull****ting, in some aspects.

Worth arguing over? No.

Make the world a better place to live( without insults.)

My 2 cent might not be worth anything to some but some might think so.

I got the same high horse crap to when i ask a question on this forum. We got a few that think they are god formost authority on everything. And think all question is met for them to replied to. The guy or whoever made a few errors on his auction so what--- it is not for us to judge him or her----buy it or leave it alone. I thought this was a place to meet other people and enjoy the people who own and get to know others on this site and maybe just maybe be able to help out others that need some help with their vehicle or make a few friends. Not everyone has own one or work on this vehicle. I for one can't do my own work anymore because of health problems so i relied on shop or friends to help out. Most all in here has own or has work on these vehicles and know a little about them so if someone should ask how---common decency is to try and help out a little instead of breaking bad on them. One day all might need help in this world young and old alike so think before jumping on somebody because he or she lacks a little knowlegde of something. Sure we all know this is not a 13 second 1/4 mile car. he or she could of push the wrong key and now it is a mistake that might get corrected if so desired. No one is perfect if that was the case we would not need college to get a degree or high school. 12 grades of schooling and 4 years of college does not make one smart----common sense is the key word. Mike said it---not in this wording but to something like this---- make the new one feel like they are someone other then a bump on someone,s a-----ss. I am not in here to offend anyone or call judgement but i do think respect of others should be a key factor to make this forum people friendly. I was even call the rightious one for asking a question. I just laugh it off and let it lie in the dirt. I not in a vote to see if or how many people like me. If you do ok if not nothing gain nothing lost. I don't know you and you don't know me. I would think we are all in here for the same reason to become friends and get to know one another.

A very good point. We don't need to pick every one apart.

I think the greatest insult is selling a SVX with the interior uncleaned. I mean how hard is it to run a vacuum over before sale? It's just an insult to the potential buyers and to the car itself IMO

it IS possible...

It is possible to have working A/C that doesn't come out of the front vents. It happened to me. Fixing it was a matter of lubricating the linkage that opens and closes the vent flapper down behind the center console when you push the climate control mode buttons. AC worked fine... froze my feet, but nothing out of the front vents before the fix.

Eh, I have no qualms about briefly snickering at this ebay listing. I wouldn't have considerred the a/c to be "great" if it doesnt come out the front vents. And the car just doesnt look red to me. Sure, people in this thread could've been nicer, but in my opinion they weren't horribly mean. Maybe I just feel okay about laughing behind the guys back, but wish that he'd be treated nicer if he showed up on our forum.

I do hope that if any more raw-furry-dawg products show up on ebay, someone will take the time to point it out to me so I can enjoy a laugh. I hope no one is suggesting I shouldn't laugh at ebay ads, or that funny ads shouldn't be shared.
