Thumbs up New and Improved Jersey Insurance Policy!!!

I finally put an old accident in the dust last month and I finally opted to qutoe a new policy. My new policy is with Liberty Mutual who quoted and has now insured me for a 12mon. policy at $700. I make payments at a little over $60 a month. I am a very happy man moving from a policy that cost me over 2k a year for Liability only to a policy one step up for 1/3 what I was paying. Well I figured I would share my joy of saving oodles of money with all of you. Now you can reply and let me know that your svx is insured for about $100 a year and make me even more jealous

Tom

I pay basic (highest deductable, minimum coverage, etc) insurance at $75CAN/month on my 92, so almost exactly $60US. If anything ever happens tho, I have a $700 deductable

Glad you were able to score some savings! US insurance companies sound so scary, crappy and expensive. Our insurance is provincially regulated - Saskatchewan Government Insurance.

I'm with Liberty Mutual too.. went from $2k/6 months to $1100/yr for TWO cars, one being a sports car, plus comprehensive on one of the cars. I love Liberty Mutual's prices... the real test will come if I ever get into an accident though... friend of mine got into one, and her insurance company (21st century) is hanging her out to dry, as in asking her to confess to DUI (which she wasn't). I thought your insurance company was supposed to help you out, not the other party...

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I have always had my own insurance policy. I never and probobly never will lease or get a loan for a car so I never needed full coverage.
