BOBB Yes I think that would be really good to try. I like that cleanser a lot and it should work great on glass.

I tried some dish soap and it will not touch the film.

I put in new wipers last night and the visibilty has improved greatly. However, the film is still there after the wiper goes by and fads out about a 1/2 second later after the pass.

that is common when you use rain-x and windshield wipers that have silicone rubber ...it's some type of reaction...you need to completely remove the rain-x residue out of the glass and wipers..
