Real Silicone WRC style radiator hoses

I have a good source that can do the tooling
These hoses would be similar to the SAMCO hoses
used on WRC cars. In the US they are commonly
used on Police and Govt vehicles. They use these
because of the fact they can almost outlast the car
itself and can go 150k miles on avg
They would be available in black, red, blue or yellow.
Sold in pairs only
Est cost about $100-120 pair.
Usually these are a well worth investment for most
Svx owners, because they offer peace of mind on road trips or any other time for that matter. They look cool, sure.
But their durability is the selling point.
We would have them hopefully by Jan or sooner if we start the process soon.
If we get enough interest, Ill start taking small deposits and get the process set in motion.
Tooling alone is going to cost me about $1500

Count me in.

Dayle,

Count me in on a pair of black ones. Let me know how much of a deposit you need and it's yours. Good job making these available; I had a set os blue silicon Ford Motorsport hoses on a 1988 Saleen Mustang and they truly were (are) indestructible. I installed them in 1995 when I restored the Saleen and the current owner still has them and they are as pliable as the day I put them on.

seems most Svxs need a radiator at about 100k
and for a half plastic, half metal radiator thats the
avg life. Even metal ones after 100k tend to get so
clogged that they need replacing over time and cant
be wroughted out anymore.
Im just trying to find one for less $ and Id be happy
Im headed to SEMA in a few weeks, hope to find
someone there this yr.
Thanks for the support guys on the hoses
I really want to try to get these done....

wish we could get more interest

in these, seems like a logical way to spend some $
but we need more people committed to buying a
quaility product

You have my commitment

Dayle, I'm still interested in these hoses and am willing to pay for them up front if that helps. I say you try it again, maybe with some additional pics of silicone hoses, especially in different colors. I'm an engineer as engineers are all visual (as are most men) and more pics of hoses, even if they're not exactly SVX specific, may help generate more interest.
Don't give up, we want those hoses.

Start a list

Come on folks, these hoses will outlast our cars. They also add that little extra bling to the engine bay (if you're into that sort of thing).
I want a set of black ones (or blue if it makes a difference in the group price or in simply making it happen).
