Back Pressure Transducer Location and Removal?

I have this faint smell of rotten eggs inside my car after the engine gets warm and its idling. I only get that smell in this car, so I'm pretty sure its not me.

My mechanic says its not the catalytic converter - he actually mentioned that the entire exhaust system for a 94 is in surprisingly good condition.

He said it looks like its the back pressure transducer.

After looking at the part location picture on a Subaru parts website, it looks like that transducer is on the passenger side of the engine, down below that big plastic tube that runs to the MAF sensor, with 3 small hoses attached to it,. Can someone confirm whether or not thats the part; if not, the location of the part, and also, how to remove it?

Thanks.

Larry
