Selling AWD, buying FWD??? Consequences?

My '93 has 130k+ miles on it, and is starting to sag in a few ways. I can do another transmission plus struts, timing belt, and a few other details - or...

A friend of a friend has a '95? FWD "L" version, with low mileage and a new transmission. I'm thinking of buying that L and swapping my leather seating, etc., then selling my '93 for whatever it'll bring.

I don't use the sunroof, but will regret losing the auto seatbelts.

Four questions:

1. What are the most important handling differences I'll experience going from the AWD to the FWD configuration?

2. Are there any maintenance peculiarities of the FWD version?

3. Can I swap the auto seatbelt assemblies?

4. Can I swap the remote door lock capability?
