Exclamation WTB - Radiator

I'm looking to buy a used radiator in working condition. The connector for the top hose is broken on mine. I have this crappy feeling that it is also very clogged.

Anyway, anyone have a quality used radiator? If not, anyone know where to get one for a low price? $350 is a little pricey for a new one... I think I heard that Liberty Subaru has the lowest prices, and am going to call them on Monday.

Well, the cheapest price that I have found online is $319 on trademotion.com. The site is kind of a chore to locate, but here is the shortcut.

1) Go here.
2) Enter this part number and perform the search: 45199PA001
3) BAM!! You've got the radiator.

Still looking for a nice quality used one... Mike, maybe?

Locating them used is virtually impossible. Whenever i order a used one for resale, they end up getting to be with the top tanks broken in the mail lol.

I wish!!

My dealer quoted me CAD$800 for a new one

(CAD$800 = USD$595)

Now where did I put that contact info for Subaru of Canada so I can yell at them a bit?

I may be interested in your old radiator to help get an aluminum rad developed.

Damn. That's ridiculous for a simple ****ing radiator.

I'll let you know what happens with my old one. I have many considerations going through my mind with this car, and a new radiator is just one of them.

On my way back from looking at Astralbody's car I picked up a new radiator for mine. After exchange, duties and taxes it also came out to about CAD$550
