you can get around in snow in FWD, RWD, or a motorcycle, but AWD certainly helps. i have a lot of hills around here, and while it doesn't help going down them, its definitely a bonus when you need to go up.

i thought you were looking for some more luxury and creature comforts? it seems like you're just trading a sporty hatchback for another sporty hatchback.

why not buy another SVX? equip it with 4WS from a Prelude and a mini Mac computer, which would allow you to travel to distant galaxies to unlock the secrets of the universe.
