Front top hat for Koni struts

Both front top hats on my 95 SVX need to be replaced due to deterioration of the rubber in the top hats. A few years ago, I replaced F/R struts w/Koni's so I need to make sure the new top hats can fit the Koni's; right now, the top hats are 20 year old OEM hats. I had considered using STI top hats when I installed the struts but I had feared that drilling new holes next to the old holes would cause metal fatigue between the holes due to stress of the struts. There were several threads on upgraded top hats but they seemed to evaporate w/o any new items. Threads in archives are years old; any new info on upgrades/OEM or aftermarket?
