I'm still trying to build my info site and would appreciate if anyone has how-to's they would like to see on it to e-mail it to me or just reply here.

I haven't had much time to update it recently but I'm looking to spend a little time here and there adding your hard work and contributions to the collection.

The current list so far is here but it is still relatively small.

that's great! i actually started making a website like this, but i just don't have the time anymore. here is the site i was trying to model mine after: http://www.nichols.nu/tips.htm that page was extremely helpful with my 928, and i wanted something like that for the SVX so we didn't have to wade through endless searches to find what we need to keep these things running. you could maybe use some of the categories from there.

i e-mailed you some of the How-To's i have saved. again, excellent work - we'll all probably be referring to your site a lot!

I was just about to ask the same for a site I am building. I'm finally going to make good use of my domain now that I have a .NET server here at home. With my own server I have no disk space concerns like I do at work or somewhere else. As soon as I get it organised I will be transferring the DNS and going live. If anyone would like to email me as well with any SVX tips, how-to's & basic info I would greatly appreciate it. It can't hurt to have more than one resource online for this stuff.

David, if you'd like to work together on sharing info as we both do this let me know. I'd be more than willing to pass along anything I get.

don't forget to scour this site for all the excellent technical posts (with the Admin's permission, of course), and credit the poster. a couple tech pages will really be nice, because when new members ask the same typical SVX questions over and over, they can be referred to the 'Tech Sites' instead of launching a whole new thread rehashing the subject. "is there any way to clean my yellow headlights?" <4 pages of posts follow>

I remember running through every members locker when I first joined, and I saw so many How To's or at least what appeared to be how to's.
I looked at your list, and it looks pretty good, I can't think of anything I've seen that you don't have.

I think what you are doing is great. There is only one thought that comes to mind. Instead of looking at several unofficial sites, wouldn't it be better to have an official How-To site that a number of members work on to keep it current and post? I am not trying to steal your thunder, but I just wondered if that may be a better way to go. This way there is no duplication of effort and confusion on where to go to get the information.

Yes, what I am doing is crediting the creators/suppliers of the information on the site as best I can.

I have a Technical Post book. There are "how tos" in it. Most of them are posts from the Yahoo SVX site, but some are from the old Kinetic Concepts site. I will bring the book to the Reading meet. You can copy down the post number from the Yahoo ones and copy the KC posts, if you come to this meet.

David, if you can't make it perhaps I can get that info from Larry (if you don't mind, Larry) since I am definitely going to the meet on Fri & Sat (I have to work Sun). I will share whatever I manage to get.
