4.44 rear diff
My rear diff ate itself. I need another one for a 4.44 converted SVX.

Re: 4.44 rear diff
Never mind. It's going for scrap this weekend.

You're scrapping the car?

Re: 4.44 rear diff
If you are going to scrap it at least sell it to someone for scrap price on Facebook. I am sure there are several guys who live near you that would take it off your hands for that. Post it up and I'll keep bumping it for you.

Re: 4.44 rear diff
My son may buy it. If not, I'll do that.

Re: 4.44 rear diff
My son decided to buy it and get it running, so if anyone knows of a differential, we still need it.

Re: 4.44 rear diff
I hope you find a diff, but if not please don't scrap these cars...
Someone will pay more than scrap for a parts car, parts are only going to become harder to find for these. |

Re: 4.44 rear diff
I've got a 4.44 tranny and diff on my parts car but it's buried under 5 feet of snow right now.

Re: 4.44 rear diff
I won't be able to get to it for quite a while. Also getting the diff off may be difficult. Let me think about it and get back to you.

Re: 4.44 rear diff
Indy,
How did the rear diff "eat itself"... are you pushing 600WHP or was it dry? There's more involvement than just swapping out the rear differential if you want to keep the LSD in the rear-end of the SVX as 4.44 diff's don't come with it. -Sam

Re: 4.44 rear diff
The right side axle came partway out and cocked sideways. It beat the inside of the diff. My fault, I didn't get it seated properly.
