Missing my SVX .. weird

I'm heading home to Vancouver after six weeks in Paris 9with side trips to Amsterdam and Aachen, Germany).

I've seen a lot of interesting cars .. Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Alfas .. and I must say the European VW Scirocco is f*&^king gorgeous .. but I am really missing my nice, pristine SVX.

It's got just-such-an-SVX feel to it whilst driving it, and the looks are absolutely classic (as we all know) .. especially with the STi BBS silver rims I now have on it.

I'll see it tomorrow night .. and go for a short drive in it, to boot.

Be sure to verbally let her know how you feel. Maybe next time you make the mistake of discussing "extra cash on hand" in front of her she'll let you slide.

I've fixed or replaced everything that could be fixed or replaced, now drives like almost new. But, I wouldn't be surprised if tranny goes in the next 10 - 30,000 kilometres.

Given that there is zero rust, interior is almost pristine, rubber is still supple all around, new valve covers and new paint job .. I will think seriously about either a 5-speed swap or a 4.44 swap if the tranny goes. I love this car.
