High idle at start up?

Just wondering what you guy shave for a idle at a cold start up. i think mine was around 2000 rpms today might have been 1500. It just seems a little high to me. i did just take the maf and used the cleaner on it because i was idle searching at stops and almost wanted to stall.

Re: High idle at start up?

That sounds right about normal for a suby. My buddys 97 lego GT warm up at almost 2k, and my svx is right between 1500 and 2000 rpm.

Re: High idle at start up?

Check your vacuum lines. Mine has a crack and idles high and surges at times. Planning to repair it soon.
