I didn't follow the link, but the answer is 3/8"

The hose is 3/8. be very careful about adding a filter as it can cause a restriction that causes hard transmission damage. Test the installed filter to make sure that it will flow COLD fliud at an absolute minimum of 2 quarts in 30 seconds.
