Talking Re: Thank you all...

I don't go to bed without visiting my online family here...and Michelle, you look great yourself. You and your car compliment each other. Thanks a lot for all the greetings...gotta go...these letters are dancing right before my eyes [/B][/QUOTE]

So what brand of suntan lotion does Michelle use?

Yup - Coppertone.

Ugh!! Ron.

I had a wonderful birthday... old friends visited and took me to Bob Chinn's Crabhouse in Wheeling, Illinois. It's a great seafood place...I think I had too much Mai Tai...my head is spinning and of course I let somebody else did the driving on the way home.

Bob chin's literally 5 minutes or so away from where I live. Ok. 7 minutes. I was there on Sat. and talked to Bob again. He is a nice man. And I had MaiTai for the first time the other day - Nice drink. Try bowling next time you get a little tipsy. I bowl better then.

Smile born when?

Heck kids, I fell out of high school waaaaaay back in 1970 (around the time dirt was invented) and turned 50 this year but you know what? I was and continue to be facinated by the range of ages, backgrounds, interests and personalities of the people on this web site and at the 10th Anniversary Party at Lafayette Indiana. Imagine all those different people coming together with the common interest of this car. We are quite the diverse group, aren't we?

I'll second that!

<<I was and continue to be facinated by the range of ages, backgrounds, interests and personalities of the people on this web site >>

I totally agree. This is NOT an age thing. I think it's an 'intelligence' thing. Think about it. This car has it all. Power, comfort, AWD, looks, STYLE...and probably most important VALUE.

Just try and show me a car with this much for so little cost. Sure I can get a purty AWD beemer or Audi Quattro A6, but the $$$.

No..I think it's intelligence. And that's why we get along so well and find each other's company so rewarding. No stuffed shirts around here, just good common sense intelligence.

I really don't know WHAT I'm going to replace it with in 10,20, 30 years....I only hope it's not a car at all, but has real wings and doesn't need roads.

as a 'great' man once said...

"Roads?.....where we're going we don't need roads...."
