I really don't see the difference. Heres what it looks like to me. But besides the wing, I like the rest of your car.

Is this wing way too big? Yes, yes it is

You know I kind of like that one. I wouldn't want it on my car but I think the changes make it work.

I have to agree!

I would try to find out a way to get rid of the 2x4 wooden braces that hold it together though!

Keith

Or at the very least paint them blue to match the rest of it!

IMO, too tall, too angular, white paint? doesn't match anything. Why not design it to at least flow with the lines of the car? Why would you intentionally modify your car in a way that will cause people to laugh and second guess your judgment?

Agreed with the above; when I look at the picture of your car, I'm wowed, but only when I hold my thumb in front of the wing.

FWIW, I never laughed at the stunning car we know as the F40.

Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

That thing is so THICK!! How much it weighs? Does the trunk open freely and does the wing clear the rear windshield?... NO it doesn't!

The F40's wing is not nearly as tall and either close up or from a distance flows quite well with the lines of the body. Fuhgetabout the fact the car is essentially legendary.

Superbird?
The wing is at a specific height so the trunk could open without contacting it not to mention it was specifically designed to help the car's track times.. Form following function.

Had a hell of a time finding a pic with the trunk open.

Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

ok, with the reshaping, had you also cut the height in half at least, I would have liked it, the shape actually looks good... it just looks ridiculously too high and kills the sleek low profile that the SVX has.... just my opinion...
