Question rear wheel bearings

i know alot of you have replaced rear wheel bearings and now mine are getting to the point where they have to be changed.I'm wondering if aftermarket bearings are any better than oem.Anyone have any suggestions?Experience? Thanks. dennis

Bearings should be about the same with a few exceptions. Probably in most cases your choice of brands would be made in the same factory.

Might as well since it's all apart. You may find you need to replace the whole arm just to get the bushing.
Earthworm was looking into having these bushings made.

Don't forget to check the rear swaybar bushings.

Re: rear wheel bearings

I hope I don't have that much trouble.I've already got most of the bolts loose(good ole pb blaster) and it looks like heat should loosen the two others.Whether they come out of the bushings is a different story. The bolt that holds the trailing arm to the subframe looks like it could be a problem! I've already replaced the swaybar links and bushings last year. Thanks for the tip about the arm,if it's too much trouble i will probably just swap them out with new.
