Thanks, I just got off the phone and made my final orders from my parts suppliers... I want to have everything two weeks before I need it...

More to come...

Re: Cross Country Feeler

yikes.. just saw this.. let me know when you are in SL.. we can at least get you a meal... your time line looks like you won't be able to stop long.. but I would hate to think that you are just going to drive by without stopping.

Hay Mitch, I did want to stop in there anyway... Never really been West except for San Diego a couple years ago, and I flew there. I am gonna be stopping all over the place

Re: Cross Country Feeler

Tom,
Don't forget to let me know when you're coming through the LA area. My offer of a crash pad still stands, and Sunday, Nov. 5 is our big car show in the park not to far off.
Hope to see you then,
Paul

Re: Cross Country Feeler

If I was to pick up the same engine seal kit that Troy did, and providing he has the room, and would be willing to put up with me (I havent asked him yet, lol, I was just getting a feeler out there.) Would you be able to help with the seal kit on my Polo? Its still smoking... Its becoming more frequent now. How long does the process of putting the kit on take? I would love to work on it myself, I just need the engine out of the car, lol. And I dont have the means to do so. If you could squeeze me into your schedule, I would greatly appreciate it

If I would be unable to do it while your doing Troys, I do have access to multiple garages we could work in. Let me know what you think. Also, if this is possible, could you shoot me a PM with an estimate on how much the work would cost? Thanks Tom
