The number doesn't seem to tell you whether it is red or green flake. We had a thread about this a couple of years ago. The numbers were the same, but the flake color was different. Yes, they did put both on the SVX, but there didn't seem to be any reason or indication of which was used when.

Here's Subaru's paint colour formulas for '92 (all models) from the '92 STIS workshop manual. Maybe Honda or someone else with STIS access could check out if there's differences with these &/or newer colours in later years?
#222 (which mine is) is a bit of a weird one, too - I've seen it called charcoal, gark grey, graphite... Subaru calls it Onyx. I've just had a pressure pack made up (using factory code) and it has 'Subaru - Dark Grey/Onyx' as the colour. Go figure. Anyways, this was really about putting the .pdf up. Tania.

Some of subarus paint codes have one code that when put into a paint database such as PPG it will show 2 codes for that one code which means it's a 2 tone. Also some that just have one single code and no other ones but is still a 2 or 3 tone, there will be no code for them. They are listed as Accent colors.
