Smile New Tranny

Got her back today. I went for the rebuild with the 2 year warranty. The way my luck has been going lately, I figured I needed the safety net. Rebuilt transmission seems to be working just great. Mind you, I would say anything right now after driving the Sprint for over a month!

She goes to the body shop next week to have the 2 dents/scrapes fixed...yipee!

Came home on my split shift and washed her right away. Obsessive, I know.
(wonder what I should do about the new scratches on the front fenders that weren't there before she went to the transmission shop...the fenders, one in particular, are quite scuffed and scratched.)

Thanks for all your help and imput with the transmission questions.

Cynthia

Cynthia, very pleased to hear this. You will enjoy your car more than ever!

Go back to the shop and complain about the scratches!! They are supposed to put magnetic sheets across the fenders to save buckle scratches and so on. I would be looking for monetary compensation, that's just not good enough.

glad to hear all is well. The warranty was a good decisions as sometimes rebuilds can fail quickly due to an error or an oversight. Good luck and enjoy your ride
