Funny thing I saw today

My wife work for a local car sales/maintenance shop. Well today I stopped in to bring her lunch and her boss drives in a late model neon

that needs brake work. A few minutes later I see why-the rotor is completely wore down PAST the vents and has seperated from the center of the rotor. The caliper had seized and what was left of the rotor was suspended.How anybody didnt notice that it was that bad is funny
