Hi all

Hi gang,

New mwmber here just saying hello. Been trollin the boards for the last few days since I miss my subie...hopefully I et it back Friday.

I have a 95, LS-i brilliant red/beige leather. I have loved this car forever and finally got mine last year. No problems untill 2 weeks ago, when I got rear ended.

Here's the scoop.

I make a left hand turn after leaving my housing development and get behind a riced accord at the next light. We both turn left, he goes wide and I pass him, not racing just driving normally. He gets bent and zooms off...whatever. I see him half a mile later in the RIGHT hand turn lane at a light. I et in the LEFT lane to turn. A few seconds later...hes in my rear-view mirror...whatever. I make the turn, and slow down to turn right into a convience store, I hear tires squealing, look in my mirror....BANG!!!!!

Insurance company score board after a 40Mph impact

95 Accord........Totaled
95 SVX............$3,200 for repairs.

The kid driving the Accord now want's a Subaru, the officer on the scene is lookin for an SVX, I want mine back.

Pics will be posted soon.

Take care all,

michael

I think if I found one I'd offer it to the cop.

No sense giving it to a hotheaded kid.

I'm real sorry to hear about your accident, Michael. That's rough. I know what it's like to be withou my SVX, though. I stored mine all winter and then, shortly after I brought it out again, the alternator quit. So I have it in the garage, awaiting a warm enough day to wash and wax before I get to the repairs.

I hope you get yours back soon.

Michael, welcome to the Network (as if we need another Mike! J/K We have several).

Many of us have suffered the anxiety of being without our SVXes. Personally I've gone 24 days the first stretch, 30 the second, with a couple of 4/5 day stints in between. I know, it ain't no fun!!

As for the accident, I'm just glad no one was hurt. If you hang around here while you're waiting on her, I will guarantee you'll be entertained, and possibly pick up some useful information.

Again, welcome to the "asylum" as some call it.

Welcome to the net Mike, hope you get your car back soon.

There will soon be enough Mike's here that we should be able to get our own forum. What do you think Mike's?

I was gonna knock that one out of the park, but decided to leave it alone. I think Mike's getting a little nervous posting things for me to misconstrue!
