Is anyone currently in the US Navy?

My 18 year old son David is joining the Navy.
If you could pm me, I would appreciate it.
I have some questions, and any advice that you could give would help him, please get back to us.
Thank you
Tom

Not in the Navy...

Father was a 20 year Marine...

And I spent 8 years in the USAF.

I may not be able to help out with Navy specific stuff, but Military stuff in general.

Tom, as I was saying the other day when I was up there, please let me know if you have any questions about the Navy thing, since my best friend is now entering year 3 of his 6 year contract, and I would be happy to relay any questions, or just put you in contact. Let me know! P.S. I got my check finally, so you will be seeing lots more of me (thread jacking )
