Sorry, but the power to ugly ratio is just too low for me.

The power to weight ratio is not too special either. The 2.5 turbo develops less HP (224) than the 2.0 turbo of ten years ago (240) and the car is about 500lbs heavier.

Yep... true... seems like Subaru is slowly loosing their grounds/grip on Impreza while Mitsu is improving Evo year after year.... I think there will be no more competition between these two as Mitsu will outperform in all fields, remember they have improved their styling and interior quality in their new model which used to be atleast a plus point for impreza till now. And yeh now Mazda is also in race.... tough time for Subaru and now its more tough

mitsubishi sucks....how many lancers or evo's do you see out there compared to impreza's and WRX's? Subaru's name alone makes the sale. The WRX will be fine....remember how everyone thought the 06 impreza's were hideous? Well many of those same people think they look awesome. Personally i LOVE the front end on the 06's which is why i got mine....in black it looks perfect. Helloooooo swirl marks though

Cooool.... I never said Mitsu or Mazda are better than Subbie and even dont beleive in it.... I am saying wrt to the reviews or articles that I read over the net and also TopGear test drives. Ofcourse on Topgear even Mitsu wins technically on a track over Subbie, they(including me) opt Subbie due to its better looks, quality and finish over the rival and for its long known and well appreciated technology. Also 2006s are not bad at all, they look nice and better, but 07s, they lack something and looks like a copy all the way. But if someone offers me a 22b and a 06/07 wrx, I would definitely take both and swap engine from 22b to 06/07 wrx. But at the least Mitsu newer designs doesn't look like a copy anywhere as with mazda while they both suck over Subaru in many other aspects.

Get some Zymol - it's expensive, but it'll get rid of those swirl marks in the paint.

Yeah everyone on nabisco told me about zymol. My car came equipped with swirl marks from the factory because they washed it in a rush...keeping this black car clean is a PITA. But when clean it looks awesome.
