Another transmission question
Well the turbo went on the XT over the weekend and I had to start driving the SVX in the snow. What I'm wondering and I did look at some other postings first before asking.
When I punch the car on my snow covered gravel driveway the front wheels spins at first. If I get off the gas and then do it again it seems like it's AWD but I'm already moving to fast for the car to spin tires again. Is my 92 supposed to be AWD all the time? If so is this another symptum of the trans going out? Really didnt want to drive it this winter but the XT gave me no choice. |

The delay with engaging the rear tires means the AWD solenoid "C" is sticking.
You may want to look into getting that replaced along with your AWD clutch.
